Updated Upgrade Instructions

Existing customers have several choices

1) Do nothing and stay on your current plan. If you are happy with your speeds and data you don’t need to do anything. The speeds will automatically improve for you as the load on the satellite is lightened over time.

2) Upgrade to one of the new Unlimited plans that are already loaded in your account https://account.viasat.com/ under the Change Your Plan tab on your dashboard once you login. If you do not see any new plans, check back on Feb 28th after 8 AM. If no additional plans are there, then you will need to have an upgrade. You will either have your modem changed, or have everything changed to the new satellite. Depending on the plans that are available in your area. Clarksville and points South have a small high speed beam with speeds ranging from 12 to 100 Mbps! Everywhere else has 12 to 30 Mbps! The 100 Mbps plan will not be available until later this year.

3) When upgrades become available On Feb 28th, for all upgrades to equipment or to the new satellite, you will need to call customer care at 1-866-945-3258. They will go over the upgrade options with you at that time, and set up the work order for us if needed. This is a change. If you already called us and gave us your information, you still have your place in line, but you must call them on, or shortly after FEB 28th to have them create the work order for us, we do not have anyway to create it. If you have any problems when you call them, please inform us and we will do a conference call with you to customer care.

4) Price update, unfortunately there is no first 3 month discount for existing customers. I did not have any other art work and wanted to get the information out as quickly as possible and forgot to remove that, please forgive me. However, if you refer someone to us and they purchase our service, we will send you a check for $25 for each person, which is a greater value. Send us an email with the persons contact information along with your contact information.  When they purchase service through us we will send a check out in about a week.

If you have any neighbors, relatives, friends, or coworkers that could benefit from our service, please have them contact us right away and let us know that you referred them.
